To promote STEAM education and valuable life skills such as leadership, teamwork, and communication through a creative student-directed approach to the FIRST Robotics competition each year.
Oakbotics is a STEAM program for high school students that builds technical skills, business, marketing and sales skills, and leadership traits through building a 125-pound robot annually.
Oakbotics focuses on building a robot and skill building in a fun environment. Our program encourages students to ask questions, try new skills, step out of their comfort zones and develop people skills like leadership and teamwork. We work to build an inclusive and enjoyable learning environment that places an emphasis on curiosity and fosters innovation.
"Oakbotics helps students develop pathways into post-secondary education and careers while building meaningful relationships with like-minded peers."
